In-Situ Bariatric Hammock

The new Silvalea Bariatric In-Situ Hammock has been designed to address challenges and offer options in all aspects of care and has been carefully selected to offer a full transfer solution to healthcare professionals.

The full leg paddles, equipped with easy glide fabric on both sides, facilitate easy application and provide robust femur support. Additional inner leg pick up points ensure optimal positioning during transfers.

For enhanced stability, hip tapes are included, offering extra support when needed. The sling is suitable for extended periods of use, subject to a thorough risk assessment, making it ideal for continuous patient care.

The Bariatric In-Situ Hammock  has been designed to be compatible with an appropriate 4 point coat hanger spreader bar hoist.

Available in both short and long tuck tailoring options, this sling has been manufactured in the new Silva-Spacer with COOLMAX® and COOLMAX freshFX® EcoMade fiber technology. This cutting-edge fiber features a specially formulated silver additive, strategically infused within its structure. This additive not only enhances the fabric’s ability to stay fresh over prolonged periods but also provides potent antibacterial properties, keeping patients cool, hygienic and odor-free.
